Born and raised in Savannah, GA, singer/songwriter CC Witt knows a thing or two about growing up in the South. Her debut solo EP “Down Memory Lane” shows just that - featuring witty, compellingly honest and true stories about life in the modern south. Known for her lyrical depth and dynamic vocal range, her songs are comprised of a unique blend of influences with deep roots in traditional country, defying the rules for what makes good country music -- and according to Savannah Magazine, has "a voice that cuts as sharp as Tammy Wynette's paring knife." Anna Chandler from Connect Savannah described Witt's new EP, "With southern-lilt vocal clarity, poignant lyricism, and breezy, up-tempo melodies... immersive words with nostalgic imagery."
Since the release of her EP, Witt has opened for Chris Janson, Easton Corbin, and Anti-Records recording artist, Christopher Paul Stelling. In addition, alongside co-writer Patrick Ellington, CC also fronts Lyn Avenue, an established regional touring Americana/Country act, who have opened for major artists such as Jerrod Neimann, Parmalee, Lonestar and others. Lyn Avenue has received airplay on several regional radio stations and on Independent Music Promotions Radio network (IMP) reaching into over 14 countries.
Performing at clubs, festivals, concerts, private parties and corporate events, CC Witt is an emerging artist sure to turn heads in country music.
