From the heart of beautiful Savannah, Georgia, comes singer/songwriter CC Witt. Known for her lyrical depth and dynamic vocal range, CC is often compared to artists such as Sheryl Crow and Kacey Musgraves. Her songs are comprised of a unique blend of modern influences with deep roots in traditional country, defying the rules for what makes good country music.
CC began writing songs at age 13, featuring witty, compellingly honest and true stories about life in the modern south that have won top slots in multiple songwriting competitions including “Savannah’s Got Talent” in 2012. Witt released a debut EP, “Down Memory Lane” in March 2016, and according to Savannah Magazine, has "a voice that cuts as sharp as Tammy Wynette's paring knife." Anna Chandler from Connect Savannah described Witt's new EP, "With southern-lilt vocal clarity, poignant lyricism, and breezy, up-tempo melodies, Witt’s created a collection of downright catchy and lovingly crafted country-pop songs...immersive words with nostalgic imagery."
Since the release of her EP, Witt has opened for Easton Corbin and Anti-Records recording artist, Christopher Paul Stelling. In addition, alongside co-writer Patrick Ellington, CC also fronts Lyn Avenue, an established GA area Alternative Country duo, who have opened for major artists such as Jerrod Neimann, Parmalee, Easton Corbin, Adam Sanders, CMT’s Ashley Wineland, Jeff Allen, and others. Lyn Avenue has received airplay on several regional radio stations and on Independent Music Promotions Radio network (IMP) reaching into over 14 countries.
Performing at clubs, festivals, concerts, private parties and corporate events, playing her original songs as well as covering a broad range of country artists from traditional to more modern country, CC Witt is an emerging artist sure to turn heads in country music.
